Oxidative hair coloring, bleaching and permanent hair treatments break the sulfur bonds that hold the hair structure together. Breaking sulfur bonds weakens the hair structure and causes changes that further weaken the hair structure. OLAPLEX strengthens and repairs the hair structure by protecting and rebuilding the hair's sulfur bonds using a unique patented ingredient and a scientifically proven method.
The Salon Intro Kit includes 1 OLAPLEX No.1 BOND MULTIPLIER, which protects and repairs hair during chemical processing, and 2 OLAPLEX No.2 BOND PERFECTOR, which intensively nourishes and strengthens damaged and processed hair.
HAIR COLORING: Mix hair color and oxidant together and add Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier. After the exposure time, rinse hair well and towel dry. Apply a generous amount of Olaplex No.2 to hair and leave in for 10–30 minutes depending on hair condition. Rinse, wash and condition hair with your chosen products.
HAIR LIGHTENING: Mix Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier with the lightener and oxidant. Lighten hair according to the instructions of the lightener you use. After the exposure time, rinse hair well and towel dry. Apply Olaplex No.2 Bond Perfector to hair and leave in for 10–30 minutes depending on the condition of the hair. Rinse, wash and condition hair with your chosen products.
PERM: Use Olaplex No.2 Bond Perfector before perming on damaged hair to protect and strengthen it from the stress of perming. For healthy and/or untreated hair, Olaplex No.2 can be skipped and proceed directly to the perm. Add 2 ml of Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier to the perm solution and apply the mixture to the rollers. Leave on for the required time and check the curl regularly during the perm time. Rinse with hot tap water and towel dry your hair. Add 2 ml of Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier to the fixative and follow the instructions for different hair types in the instructions for use. After removing the rollers, rinse your hair with cool water and wash lightly with shampoo.
INTENSIVE TREATMENT: You can use Olaplex as an intensive treatment service, or you can use it to enable coloring or even lightening for hair in the most challenging condition. If your client's hair is in really bad condition, perform an Olaplex intensive treatment 1–3 days before coloring or lightening. Mix 90 ml of water and 15 ml of Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier in a spray bottle. Soak/moisten dry hair from roots to ends and comb through once. Leave in for at least 5 minutes or longer. Do not rinse, but apply Olaplex No.2 directly to hair from roots to ends. Leave in for at least 10 minutes, preferably longer. Rinse, wash and condition hair with your chosen products.
KERATIN TREATMENT: We recommend using Olaplex before your keratin treatment. Apply the treatment as you would an Olaplex treatment. Wash with a deep cleansing shampoo and then continue with your keratin treatment as normal.
STRAIGHTENING TREATMENT: After rinsing out the fixative, towel dry your hair. Mix 15 ml of Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier and 90 ml of water in a spray bottle. Dampen hair and leave in for 7.5 minutes. Rinse, wash and condition with your chosen products.
HAIR EXTENSIONS: Olaplex products are ideal for use with hair extensions. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and exercise due care when applying extensions.
