Ecodoo citric acid ecological cleaning agent for all household appliances, such as washing machines, dishwashers and small household appliances, such as kettles, coffee makers and for thorough cleaning of irons.
Try citric acid also for stain removal, rust stains or even for cleaning lime deposits in the bathroom. However, always find out the acid resistance of the surface before treatment.
Washing machines : dispense about 100 g of powder (= 1.3 dl) into the laundry detergent compartment and start the power washing program, preferably a 90 degree program. Wash in an empty machine without pre-washing. Immediately after using the washing machine, choose the same washing program without citric acid, but add a little washing powder, so that the residue from the washing machine leaves the machine and does not stick to the textiles during the next wash.
Dishwashers : dispense 30 g of powder (= 2 tablespoons) into the dishwasher detergent compartment (never into the rinse aid compartment!!) and start the hottest washing program.
Coffee machines: dissolve about 25 g (= almost 2 tablespoons) of the powder in half a liter of cold water. Mix and pour the solution into the water tank of the kettle, fill the tank up to the maximum amount with water and start the kettle. Let about half of the water drain away and turn off the cooker. Allow the solution to work in the boiler piping for 30 minutes, then drain the rest of the water. When the kettle has cooled down, pour off the washing water. Finally, rinse the kettle from the citric acid by filling the tank with clean, fresh water and drain the entire amount of water through at once. Repeat the treatment with clean water 2-3 times to rinse the device.
Kettle : Boil 0.5 liters of water in the kettle. Add 25 g (= almost 2 tablespoons) of citric acid powder to the water. Leave the mixture for about 15 minutes in the cooker (but do not restart the cooker). Empty the kettle and finally boil a full kettle of clean, fresh water in the kettle. Repeat 3 times to rinse the device thoroughly.
Iron: Dissolve half a teaspoon of the substance in about two deciliters of water. Pour the mixture into the water tank and fill the tank with water.
